So..What is this surrender now? What to surrender?

Oh! Yeah the most important subject is Surrender! Surrender your ego, the so called mind, the logical mind which is operating you every moment!

Why stress on surrender so much?

Surrender! Surrendering to a Living Master? Quite difficult? Read this story below;

Two friends, one of them spiritually inclined was guiding his friend about his experiences in God and spirituality. He first showed a stone and said..this is an avatar of Lord shiva..fall flat on the ground and take his blessings! The other person fell flat, came round the stone with lot of Bhakti. They moved on and there was a dog at one particular point. Friend said, this is also an avatar, obviously other person fell flat and took blessings. a little later, our friend showed a tree and said this is also an enlightened master's body, the other person immediately fell flat on the ground and took blessings.

Now the Drama starts, our friend took him to an enlightened master and said he is a Gnani, a Sadguru, a Living master. You are so fortunate in your life to see a living master. Take his blessings also. You know what? the person who bent before a stone, a dog, a tree did not bend before the master. He started questioning for the first time, how do I believe that he is a living master. Whats the proof??hahhahhaha? Our friend asked him what u believed a stone, a dog, a tree, u never asked me a question! what a happened to you now? the other person did not know the answer. Now our friend started talking, "Let me tell u the reason! Guru whom you just met resembles you, he is also having two hands, two legs, looks exactly similar to you, talks the same language you understand, in short you think he is also in the same plane as you are. So your EGO now is not allowing you to bend in front of this person. Its just your EGO, see inside, you will know clearly its just ur EGO, just because he is also like you.

Be clear, be very clear unless and until we surrender the EGO to a Living Master we cannot be liberated.

So what? So you say Guru is greater than GOD?

Hahhhaaa! very good question. many ask this question in many ways? In simple terms we can consider three powers, GOD, Living Master, Master's who have left their body, but still omni present. Living Master is a simple straight shortcut to understand the ultimate truth and get rid of your karmas.

So, What's the Gist?

In today's world with technology reaching greater heights day by day, with people already into all worldly activities, Give the Gist of whatever you were trying to say all along?

Ok. The gist is,

BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INNER WORLD AND ALSO IN THE OUTER WORLD!

Lets see what it actually means and the ways of achieving it! Lets read it in points.

1. Be an enlightened Bill gates. Read it again, Be like Dr.Abdul Kalam. Did u get it? if not read further for the explanation. For Bill Gates we have added enlightened before his name but for the Genius Dr. Kalam, out of words. All we can say here is, lets go through his book, his autobiography, WINGS OF FIRE. Once we finish the book, we know, we will understand clearly thats how everybody has to think and lead lives.

2. Live with a Car, dont connect yourself to it.

3. Walk with a shoes, dont connect yourself to it.

4. Be in the forbe's list, but never feel great about it.

6.Be the most successful person in the outer world, dedicate the success to somebody else, so that it doesn't get it into your head.

7. Be clear, be very clear never allow these things to rule you. Be ready to walk down with a bare foot. While walking down with a bare foot, be with the same joy, same ecstasy when you were leading a kingly life. Please understand, am not saying leave everything and go one day! this is just an example to illustrate to say, happiness should not come by the addition of material things or sadness should not prevail by loosing something. Be still, witness life as it is. BE BLISSFUL!

8. Live Enlightenment! Live the Master's Words!

Today! after all these days of uncertainty and confusion, am clear, very clear. My search for GOD, Perspective of Life, Vision everything is crystal clear. I feel like saying loud,

"My Search ends here and my journey begins!".

ARISE! AWAKE AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED! Vivekananda's words add a complete meaning for life.

I have started today with my another blog; http://maayavasistha.blogspot.com. This blog as of now, is totally personal (officially personal), its for my self improvement and further studies. So I have kept it readable only by me.


What all the Gurus are teaching till date,

1. Don't have dreams, Consciously architect your future.

2. Live life with a deeper understanding of Self, Let you not be controlled by your thoughts. Kill your EGO. Best way to do this would be, whenever ego arises, tell your mind, finally everything ends up in dust, may be you are buried or burnt, and why do you want to hurt people or dance too much in your life. "I was going through the News paper today and the headlines was about the demise of Mr.Nagesh a great actor". It was mentioned his career was all about comedy and his life was a big tragedy. He was working so hard, so hard, he never lived his life. When he went to see this mother with a foreign car and lots of money, she was already dead. Most of us, we run so fast, so fast thinking of life security, children's safety, wealth, social status etc etc., All these are just a game play of mind, which is just not allowing you to Live life. "If we can decide how the next second should be in your life, then thats the real security, but are we now capable of achieving it"??.


To continue more since this is a very important point, one example which flashes suddenly is about Lord Muruga telling Arunagirinathar, a great saint "Sollara Summa Irru". The immediate meaning is Dont talk be idle. But it has to be understood deeply. Let your mind not waver, let it not fluctuate, let it not move. And also there is one more incident with an enlightened master. When a disciple was asking the master, who were his GURUS, the master replied with a smile, one of my very important guru is a DOG. Disciple was shocked but the guru explained, I was leading a normal material life that time, I saw a DOG passing me quickly. Out of curiousity I looked back, it was going near a stream of water, drank it happily and ran back. That one second a big revolution happened in me and I renounced everything. If GOD can take care of the basic needs of a DOG for its survival, he can take care of me also, I didnot have a doubt. Whatever we think as security in today's life is actually not, its just a game play of the mind. Your questions can go on, you may think its rubbish, you may start your arugument but ultimately I could end by saying, Be silent daily for one hour, answers will come to you. You will have all the answers by yourself. Nobody has to teach you anything. And when these answers come to you, you will not have a doubt, You will know! THATS IT, THATS ALL.

3. Live Life fully, Live Life as it is.

4. Most importantly, a feeling of gratitude towards GOD for whatever he has given you today. Always be in a thankful mood, u loose, u gain doesn't matter at all. Even loose, gain words should not be used, treat all the same. Be thankful to GOD always. Never ask GOD anything. Don't be a beggar, begging for various things in front of GOD. Be as a person overflowing with GRATITUDE. In simple words SURRENDER! SURRENDER COMPLETELY!

5. LOVE Should be Selfless. Dont love for a reason. Dont express love for a selfish reason. Let it be totally selfless.

6. Speak Less! Speak whatever is necessary.

7. Believe your intuitions. Listen to them carefully. GOD speaks to each one of us in the form of intutions.

8. BE BLISSFUL! Om Hreem Nithyanandaya Namaha!

Let go!

So, whats up for 2009?

Nothing just nothing, Relax. I was going through one very interesting story by Guruji. During his wandering days Guruji used to rest at some forest destinations and he happened to see a trick which hunters use to catch birds. They used to take a stick, tie one end of the rope to the middle of the stick, and the other end to a branch of the tree. Birds which cross that way would sit on the stick to rest, and obviously the moment it sits the stick turns upside down becoz of the weight and the bird will also be hanging upside down, like the simple illustration below.

The bird will not leave the stick fearing once if it let loose it might crash to the ground and die. But the fact is once it let loose its surely going to fly. The bird keeps struggling to sit straight till the hunter comes relaxed picks up the bird put it into the bag and walks off. Guruji has also seen some birds which comes and pricks the hanging bird signaling it to leave the stick. These are some of the very few birds which had experienced a similar situation, let go the stick and it started flying.

So..let go the inhibitions and meaningless fears, JUST LET GO!

What are you going to write for Logical people? Most of us belong to this category only..

Oh! Thats right! I was one of those very logical people as well. Always we want to know the cause and the effect. Most of the time we want to question anything and everything before we
believe or get on to something. I have few points to share particularly for very logical people.

Most of the scientists who discovered great things, towards the end of their lives, believed in GOD or believed of an external divine energy. One incident from Isaac Newton's Life, Mr.Newton had a friend who was always very logical, never believed the creation factor and said everything got created by its own etc etc. One day knowing his friend is going to visit his home, Newton created a complete model of Solar system as it is and kept it in one corner of his house. His friend who came, got very curious looking at the model and asked newton, "hey Who made this". Newton replied, "I get up today morning and it was there already, It got created on its own". His friend laughed sarcastic and said "Come on Newton how can this get created on its own, This a absolute model of our solar system, don't joke". This time Newton laughed at him and said, "dear friend, you are ready to believe that the whole solar system of our universe was created on its own, u always argue on the divine, but you are not able to believe this simple model came on its own". His friend got just silent and something hit him very strongly.
Logical people get hit and that one second transforms them completely. Logical Mind can never understand or come to a conclusion about Spirituality and Divine Energy, That's why most of the great saints are called "Mystics", they can never be understood by logical people.


But still we can explore some factors that can hit logical people also, like

1. Whatever we have today including our body, we cannot hold them tight or try to posses them permanently. We came in with empty hands, we search, we live with unfulfilled desires all the time, we try to posses as much as possible, finally death conquers and we go back empty hands. I remember reading somewhere, when a saint saw few people crying around a dead body, he went on & commented, "Tomorrow's dead bodies are crying around today's dead body".

2. The so called Mystics or Masters decide and conquer death completely. They decide the time and place of their death. They leave the body peacefully. (This factor is a proved factor, Guru Raghavendra, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, etc etc they all conquered death. Be clear, What Iam speaking about is not about jumping from one body to another). We are afraid of death, all we can do is to speak about somebody's death. We can neither think nor speak about our death. Lets agree!

3.Lets think of a kid (till 3 years) in a bungalow, with all facilities, good food, costly clothes etc, Keep the same child in a badly damaged hut, feed it with porridge, give torn clothes, broken toys but the place doesn't change state of the kid, it is always in a state of BLISS. The same joy exists for the kid in both the places. THIS IS THE VERY NATURE OF HUMAN BEINGS, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT WE GET WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AT BLISS ALL THE TIME. But are we like that today? We know ("no") the answer.

So..What are you blaberring, are you trying to say we should wear torn clothes and live like saint?

Hahhhaaaaa..Lets be practical, I know u are going to misunderstand. Be with whatever you have, whatever you get! Live this present moment, Keep your body and mind in the same place, in the same thing of what you are doing present. Never let your mind wander in the past or the future. LIVE YOUR LIFE, LIVE YOUR LIFE & LIVE YOUR LIFE, Live in the present with whatever u have, with whatever you get. Never try to hold them tight, the more you hold them tight, more tightly you are holding the pain also. Really so easy to type, but when it comes to practice???? - I type all these to say it to myself more stronger, more better.

If its really difficult, how does one get help to practice it in a day to day life?

Thats where Guru's role come into play! The touch of a Guru will transform and rejuvenate us completely. Let me be honest! Its an experience that can hardly be described by words. Its like somebody trying to explain you the taste of a delicious menu, you can never understand, unless and until you taste it yourself.

GURU! First of all they are not human beings! Be clear! There is no difference between them and the cosmic energy that makes the universe function. They are enlightened beings. They have descended as a light that removes darkness from inside. They are here to give us techniques that will put us to the path of Bliss. This is the first video of this blog, by PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA, a LIVING MASTER.

This video is just a sample from the whole big ocean. All Gurus are so practical in giving solutions for attaining the eternal bliss, may you be a software engineer or a daily coolie it doesn't matter at all.

One thing common in today's world is, people are ready to accept masters who have left their body, (I mean who have attained samadhi) as GODS. We are least bothered or in other words very doubtful about living masters. When the living masters attain samadhi, that is the time we realise their worth, talk about them, do pooja etc etc. Masters who have attained samadhi are equally powerful no doubt about it. We go to saibaba temples, right?? Imagine a situation where we would have got an opportunity to meet saibaba or Ramana Maharishi and take their blessings when they were alive in the body? Oh what a chance that would be?

Overall What we are trying to understand is,

Lets not miss a chance to be with a living master, let us get their blessings, follow their teachings, attain and radiate the eternal bliss Nithyananda.

Whoever makes this question vanish from your mind is your guru, You will feel connected, you will have no doubt, you always would want to see him, you would always want to be with him. THE ONE who makes this question vanish, is your Guru. You will have a strong feeling, no doubt at all once you have met. You will know, Yeahhhh, THAT'S MY GURU!
